LAUNCHING THE GAME HERE. , The first general meeting of those interested in tho "Ball Game," as it is known in America, will be held in the Y.M.C.A. Rooms to-morrow evening. The American Consul, Mr. A. E. Whyte,: will take the chair. Baseball, if played correctly, is, as most people know, a game which calls for great science, and one which is good from tho spectators' point of view. _ It is one in which persona! distinction may be gained.
