- MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. Mr. A. E. Wells presided at the usual meeting of the Management Committee of the ■Wellington Football Association last evening. A letter was received from the sec- . retary of the Brooklyn United. The association's delegates were instructed to support the proposed alterations to the Brown Shield'rules, which arc' to come' up for Consideration at tho special mooting of the New Zealand Council on June 1. Considerable discussion ensued over the New Zealand Council's decision in disqualifying Mr. T. Crouch, of tho Corinthian Club. Subsequently, Mr. A. Varncy moved, and.Mr. T. Thompson seconded, the following motion: — "That the W.F.A., being of the unanimous opinion that the disqualification of Mr. T. Crouch is against the weight of evidence submitted," this association ■ requests the New Zealand Council to re-open the whole question, with a view to having the disqualification removed." • Mr. W. Duncan moved, as all amendment, to insert the words "a gross miscarriage of justice;" in place of "aeninst the weight of evidence submitted." This was seconded by Mr. H. Yeoman. Messrs. Duncan, Yeoman, and A. Williams voted for the amendment, and Messrs.* A. Vainey. Thompson", and A. Wplls for tho motion. The voting being even, the chairman gave his east ing vote in Favour of Hie motion, , which was carried.
