At a, special meeting of tho AVaterside' AVorkers' Union, held a few d.iys ago, a resolution was carried calli'ig upon the- executive of the body which was elected when'the' Arbitration Union was formed during the strike, lo foi-rbwith resign,, and/the resignations wer n at once handed in. To-night the union held gnothor:. meeting for the purpose of electing an executive, aiid the ballot resulted in an executive composed entirely of ex-strikers being elected. Mr. Tyrrell, the new secretary, it is understood, received 128 votes, as against 21 votes cast for Mr. Summers, the secretary of the original Arbitration Union. It is stated that a large number of the original;. Arbitrationists did not attend tho meeting. ■ ■
