Notwithstanding the rough weather, there was l a Jal'ge attendance., Tho sheep, which . were a particularly gosd lot, heavily woolled and in. good condition, were well drafted for ages, and met spirited competition, I record prices for the district, being obtain- ' ed. The 6-tooth cwfs made 225. 2d.; 4tooths, 21s. 6d.; 2-tooths, 20s. 2d.; and four- , year-old ewes, 19s. 3d; 2-tooth wethers made, 21s. 2d.; shorn ewe .lambs, 14s. Id.; wether ' lambs, 14s. 6d.; rams to 2Jgns. Tho cattle, 1 alio, met keen demand;—2-ycar steers made • £5 7s. 6d.; 18-month steers, £5 25.; yearlings, £3 2s. 6d. to £3 55.; weaners, £2 155,; cows in calf, £5 125.; 18-month heifers, £3 1 17s. 6d.
