UPPER HUTT BELIEF FUND
Up till tho present the treasurer of tho Upper Hutt Fund at Petone (Mr. W. J. Gardner) has received about £70, a sum of £9 112s. being collected by and from business people. From entertainments, Messrs. Letter and Simpson forwarded £118s. 2d., and Messrs. Oppenlieimer and Co.'s employees £6 7s. 6d. The treasurer of tto Lower Hutt Fund acknowledges the sum of £2 from a Kaponga sympathiser.
