A WOMEN'S CHURCH.
There is to be opened shortly at "Wallasey, near Liverpool, what will surely ho one of tlio most novel organisations in the world—tlio Church of the New Ideal, which will he conducted entirely by women, though its services will he open to both sexes. As a result of the exclusion of women from any share in practical church government or in tho conducting of church services, the comniittce of the new idea consider that tho interpretation and practice of Christianity have suffered, and tho general progress of humanity has been delayed.. Thinking women in all sects, they aver, find that the needs of women have been ignored in the religious as in every other_ sphere of life. The Church of the New Ideal, it is claimed, fulfils spiritually and historically the teaching explicit in Christianity—that there shall he neither male nor femalo in Christ; a •teaching not yet put into practico by tho established religious bodies.
