ENCOUNTER WITH A GANG OF ; .APACHES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright "Times" and Sydney "Sun" Scrvicct. Paris, May 7. A troop of sixty Bpy Scouts marched to Labourget, outside tho fortifications. They were greeted by a gang, of apaches with hoots and jeers. On returning, ,the apaches, lying in wait, met tho Scouts with volleys of stones. Tho Scouts deployed, and a ten-minutes' battle ensued, i;ho apaches being beaten off. The. Scouts' staves, wero broken on the heads' of the enemy. Tho police state that twelve apaches had to be assisted from the fiolil ; Tho apaches pursued the Scouts with a desultory fire from revolvers. One Scout was wounded by a bullet in the thigh. /
