The trial of Charles Edward Fenncr, tho London stockbroker, who was arrested some weeks ago in Paris on charges of .fraudulent conversion of certificates of American Marconi shares, was continued. . ... Ho was charged with appropriating tho sum of £37,059, of which L,6rd Murray of Elibank was, ns tho then Chief ' Liberal Whip, tho trustee. Accused was committed for trial. He stated that ho must admit the truth of tho charges, and did not \yish to make any excuse., He regretted tho pain and loss occasioned to his creditors, and snid lie would do his utmost to help the trustee in bankruptcy to deal with his estate in their interests.
