The anniversary ' services of the 1 aeration Metlrodist Church were swfcessful. yesterday, when there w>»-o mrgc coiigregationsat, both services, especially in tlio evening.- The «mniiii;r service was conducted by the Mar, \\\ fekett, Jiewly-appa-ijitoti minister at tho Lower H.jrit. After a short but interesting address to tho vounjj neople, tlio Bev. Sir. -Beckett delivered an" inspiring message, from Isaiah,- chap. -10, verse 9; ','lktohi Your God." In the evening the paster, the Jfav. 0. S. Cook, delivered a 'helpful .and roproprhite discourse, basing his remarks'on Malachi, chap. 3, verso 7: "Ye have goii-o away from miiip ordinances." At tin's, service a liynm, composed for tbo occasion by the Rev. fi, 8. Cook, was sung U> the tunc of "Stolitn." The choij', under tlio conductor-ship of Mr. C. B. Mackintosh, rendered special anthems. The cetabvaliojis will bo coik tinued on Tuesday evening,' when a short address will lie delivered by the Rev. J. G. Chapman, and the choir will render tho cantata, "Olivet to Calvary." ,
