BURNSIDE MARKETS. (By Telegraph — Preso Association.) At Burneido to-day 224 fat cattle were yarded. The entry comprised good to me-, uinin quality, and was far in excess of traders' requirements. At the commencement of the sale prices opened <u a decline of &!.. to 10s. per head, with slow and erratic competition, but towards the end prices receded 15s. to 203. per head, as compared with Inst week's rates. Salc3 were difficult to effect, and a number of pens were turned out unsold. Best bullocks, .SlO 10s. to £12: extra, to £13 75.; medium, Jdß 6s. to £9 ICe.; light, £6 103. to £7 10s.; cows and heifers, £7 to £8 55.; extra, £11 V 7s. Cd.; medium £5 to £6 10s. Fat sheep: There was a large yarding, 3588 being yarded, consisting mostly of I medium-weight wethers and owes.
