Union was held .on Saturday, Mr..Hugh Morrison presiding over a large attendance. lii: proposing tho adoption of the report", and balance-sheet,' Mr, Morrison referred to tho good work done by the union in tho recent strike, and to the value of organisation. Several remits were framed for the Provincial Conference to which Messrs. J. C. M'Killop and D. Hebenton were elected-dolegatee. One of tho remits urges the thorough organisation of tho union throughout tho Dominion. It was also decided to recommend that compulsory branding of cattle be abolished.
