SPONTANEOUS CHEERS FOR FRANCE. FROM VICTORIA STATION TO BUCKINGHAM PALACE. (Rec. April 26, 5.6 pirn.) London, April 25. • The King and Queen havo "returned from France. The !fflng, in replying to an address at Dover, said: "Wo shall never forget the warmth and enthusiasm of our reception in France. ' Queen Alexandra awaited the arrival of the train at Victoria Station. King George alighting kissed hor on • both cheeks, and, Queen Mary likewise embraced her. ■ Spontaneous cheers for France wherewith Their Majesties were greeted from Victoria Station to Buckingham Palaco showed that the visit was as popular here as it was in France.
