Robert Sievier, of tie "Winning Poßt," has abandoned his appeal in the Wootton case. [In July last, the jury in the Wootton-Sievier libel caso awarded plaintiff ono farthing damages. The libel complained of appeared in the "Winning Post," and reflected on the honesty of Wootton as a trainer and his sons aa jockeys. Sievier appealed.]
