Petersburg and decamped with a large sum of money. They fired revolvers at their pursuers. A. policeman shot one dea:d and a sccond was wounded fatally. There was found in the possession of a third man a tabloid of poison. The man emptied his rovolver, and when disarmed, swallowed'the tabloid and dropped dead.
