SAILORS FRIEND SOCIETY.
A • most enjoyable concert was gives last evening at tho Sailors' Friend Society by Mr. and Mrs. T. JJ. Jones, before a very largo audience, Mr James Moore, Missioner, occupied the chair. The programme was excelfcfttlj arranged, and every item was cricored Tho following contributed items:— Misses D. Jones, Harris, Messrs:, T. H Jones, L. Jones, Gibb, Johnson. (11.M.5. Corinthic), and Finn (s.s. Westmeath). Miss J. Jones played the accompaniments. Several choruses and chanties wore sung by tie irtidien.ee, Mr. Colpus presiding at tho piano. Mr. J. S. Cummings, honorary assistant missioner, moved a vote of thanks t.o the performers, it being carried by acclamation. Light refreshm«nts wcra dispensed by the workers at the conclusion of the concert. Sis flew members of tho Temperance Society ire re enrolled.
