At the trial'of Fenncry tho absconding stockbroker, who is charged with heavy deialcations in connection with Marconi shares transactions, Major Ovey gave evidence that, wishing to change his investments, no approached Fcuncr, who submitted a. scheme for the reinvestment of capital involving a sum of £44,872, thereby increasing the investor's income by £350 yearly. Tho certificates were handed to Fcnner, but ho did not givo new stock in return, but misappropriated £35,000.
