I was on this contract a month and four days, doing 80 miles a day over the worst roads, that you could find anywhere, and I was always loaded, having. 4-5 passengers and myself, also C ba?s of mails, and papers and parcels. Well, I never had a stop or a breakage of any sort, and I had some very wet trips. Tho last day on the job the roads were very greasy and I was an hour late. Taking a sharp turn the back wheel skidded and over tho bank we went, a drop of 40 feet. Well, we got tlio car up on tho Toad a few days Inter, and she started just as good as ever! we drove her into Pahiatua arid got a few things fixed up, and she lias been rnnnin? ever since—not a bail'record, what, do you say?
