An extraordinary wise of endufance and rescue is 'reported from Borca di Cadore, in the jUpino province of Bel--1 itno, Italv. Ho, said afterwards that' he fell on. his back and was vmablo to free .himself from, his heavy knapsack, which held him down. Ho went to sleep in what he judged to be the previous everting, and slept well! "I dreamt," he saj., "that five tapper's came to free me. An hour ago I, heard the sound of your voices, and I called to you." Ha was' frostbitten, but is now doing fairly well.
