CITY CLASSIFICATION
WILL BE CARRIED OUT. "When are wo going to get the classification and superannuation scheme?" n'sked Councillor T. A. Hislop of the Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke) at last night's meeting of tho City Council. . The Mayor explained that it had only been advanced some .steps, but he could assure the council that a complete scheme..would be carried out. Thero was nothing-to report at the present time, but when the City Engineer' returned from his leavo the matter would bo gono into again. Ho could not move till lie had a- chief executive officer with him. Councillor R. Fletcher:, We were told we would have it down in six weeks; it is now three months.
