' Witnesses before the : Committee- oE tho House of Commons on tho Cigarette Bill', asserted that most Society women throughout tho Canadian cities were confirmed cigarette smokers. The habit wa3 increasing to an alarming extent. Of 3000 delinquent children, they declared, 65 .per cent, used cigarettes. A suggestion was mado that tho Committee, should recommend the prevention of the use of tobacco by girls and boys throughout Canada. .
