At the April meeting of the Wanganui branch of the Women's Christian Temperance Union a resolution reaflirmiiiK tho support given by thi9 branch to tho Bible-in-Stato Schools League was carried unanimously. The Wnnganui branch was the first of the many branches which last year passed resolutions dissenting from the action of tho W.C.T.U. Convention held at Nelson, which declared itself in opposition to tho Bible-in-Stato Schools' League.
