At the Easter Convention of the New Zealand Methodist Young Men's and Young 'Women's, Biblo Class Unions, hold 'in Auckland, at which. 530 delegates were present, representing a total membership'of sovoral thousand spread over tho whole of tho Dominion, the following resolution was carried unanimously:— "We, the members of Methodist Biblo Classes from all parts of Now' Zealand, assembled in our annual convention, wish to placo on record finr endorsement of tlio action of our Church in supporting the Bible-iu-State-Scliool-s' Loaguo, believing that no system of education .can be called cnmploto winch ignores tho Bible, and that the introduction of tho Australian . system _of Bible reading and religious instruction into the State schools of the Dominion will bo conducive to 'tho well-being of tho whole community. "We also express our conviction that a sufficient number of the electors of the Dominion havo evidenced tlieir desire for tho referendum requested by tho league to justify the Cabinet in introducing tho necessary measure during tho, coming season of Parliament. ■ "We also pledge ourselves to do what wo can to assist the ■ executive of tho league in its endeavour to. secure that this matter shall bo submitted to tho decision of tho people at tho next General Election."
