Pahiatua Wedding. Tho Pahiatua correspondent of Tun Dominion writes that tho inarriago took plaeo in St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Pahiatua, on Wednesday, of Miss Margaret M'tfarlanc, eldest daughter of Mr. A. M'Farlane, of Mana-a-inutu, to Air. Frank Thomas. Hornofof Dallanco. Tho bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of whito crepe do chine, trimmed with shadow laco and pearls. Tho skirt was draped and caught up at the back and front with true lovers' knots. She wore a veil and orange blossoms, aad carried a lovely bouquet of cream cactus dahlias and roses, intermingled with asparagus ferns. There were two bridesmaids (both sisters of the bride). Miss Janet M'Farlane, tho chief maid, wore cream satin, trimmed with cream hi.ee, and. draped with palo bluo niucai, and blaek hat with ostrich feathers, Miss Bessie M'Farlane was in a gown of turquoise blue satin, draped with whito iiinon iii lamp-shade fashion, and trimmed with whito fur and pearls. She wore a blue sniiu Juliet cap to r/iateh. Each carried a bouquet of beautiful flowers. Tho best man was Mr. C. It, Palmer, of Woodville, and Mr. 0. Oxley, of Pahiatua attended as groomsman. After tho ceremony, which was performed by the Bcv. M. Bawden Harris, the bridal party and guests motored to tho residence of tho bride's parents. The wedding breakfast was set in a largo marquee on the lawn. The' guests included visitors from tho South Island, Wairarapa, and tho Main Trunk, and nuittbered fully 120. Tho bridegroom presented tho brido with a beautiful dress ring, set with diamonds and sapphires, and to each of the bridesmaids lie gave a gold jewelled brooch. The bride presented tho bridegroom with a gold* mounted albort. Tho brido travelled in a navy blue tailor-made costume and hat of royal bluo ■ trimmed with ostrich plumes. Wedding at Batlanoe. Tho Rev. M. Bawden Harris also performed a wedding ceremony at Ballance on Easter Monday, when Miss Laura Jowers, daughter of Mr. J. Jowers, of Ballance, was married to Mr. Y. S. Lucas, of Palmerston-North. The ceremony took placo in the Methodist Church, .which had been decorated with, flowers and evergreens. A reception' was afterwards held at the residence of the bride's parents.

Miss Myra Dobson, daughter of the late Mr.- Robert Douson, was married very quietly on Wednesday to Mr. Rob> ort' Norman Potts, son of Mr. Donald' Potts, Hawke's Bay, states the Christchurch "News."
