Offcial records show that the trend of cold production in the northern ' State has been consistently downwards evel since 1903'. In that year the Quantity obtained from the-mines-was 668,5!;6 fine oz., whereas tno total won in 1913 was only 365.735 fine oz. The aggregate results of goid mining in the State to the end of 1913 was a,' yield of 17,973,674 fine oz., the value of which amounted to £76,347,265.
