Delegates were present from Pnliiatua, Marten, Port Almriri, Ciutortoni Napiftr, .BaUnovirko, Levin, Mnsteiton, AVoodvitte, Gonvillc, Wangaimi, and Tuihapo, Prior to the commencement of business th© delegates ivore welcomed by the Mayor, The balance-sheet showcd liabilities nil, and assets £4 10s., ami a credit balance of £39 11s. l<l. Competitions were commenced on Cornwall Pork this -afternoon in fine weathw, about ISO firemen competing. Only ono event, the ladder I'acc, was completed.. Tho vt-sttlt was:—Pireftmn g. Dixou (Ifasterton), 7Jsdo., 1; Fireman Brtwo (Paliistna Fife Brigade), Sseo... 2; Fireman Rraggms (Mastorton Fire Brigade), 3. Sixty-eight competed.
