The "Times,", in a leading article on tho'Pacific cable, emphasises Australia's contention that the Pacific cablo will not attain the objects , for which it was constructed unless an All-Red cable is laid across the Atlantic. . SUGGESTIONS ENDORSED. (Rec. April 12, 5.5 p.m.) London, April 11. The "Times" leader pointed out that dissatisfaction existed in Australia, and New Zealand with the Pacific Cable. It endorses the suggestions in the Dominions' Commission'a second interim report, and adds that Australians and Now Zcalanders recognise the need of keeping in touch with tho United Kingdom, and are not afraid to. run a State-owned enterprise 'at a loss if it will be of considerable .social advantage.
