At tho stock sales in. connection with the show high prices ruled. A Shorthorn bull sold on behalf of Mr.' DoUglae M'Leaii, of Hawko's Bay ? reali-sedi 370 guineas, and others from 105 to 240 guineas. A Shorthorn, bull «jk! on behalf of Mr. Simpson, of Hamilton, brought 400 guineas, while a, Devpli hull, the property of Mr. White, of B&yihh, fetched tho record price of 225 guineas. Shorthorn heifers, on account of Mr. Nixon, Killinchy, Canterbury, ranged up to 49 guineas. .'
