GENERAL MEETING 1 OF. CONTROL, v Tho New Zealand Football Association mot last evening, Mr. C. E; Fordhani presiding. Tho following, delegates were also present:—Messrs'. Si. M'Keoweji (Hawke's Bay), J. Lowis (Wangajnii), J. Inco (Manawatu), W. J. H. R-eynolds (Poverty Bay), H. Salmon (Southland), J. Paton (Wellington), R, Huteheson (Marlborough), • B. L. Salmon (secretary), and A. C. Kerr (treasurer). Regarding tho proposed visit- of a New Zealand team to Australia., at letter was received fromtho New South Wales Football ■ Association embodying a recommendation to an Easter conference at Brisbane, and asking the New Zealand Association what terms it, was prepared to offer in the matter. Oh the motion of Mr. M'Keo.wen, seconded by Mr. Reynolds, it was decided tliat a cablegram-bo. sent intimating that tho association was prepared to dispatch a team over to Australia, and alternatively inviting''them -to send a team over here; and asking at what terms they would be prepared to send such team over. In answer to a -request for a ruling in regard to the- position of a player ivho has been suspended, tho secretary of the English Association wrote as follows ; —"lb is the practice ia England that a player who has been sent oti' tho field for misconduct: may continue, to play until bis case, has been inquired into by the association." Tho Wellington Association wrote asking that suspensions in connection with tho'Corinthian Club, with tho exception of tho former secretary, ho removed. Tho request was agreed to. A letter was received from Mr. P. W. Everott, of Nelsoti, stating that the prospects for tho coming season were bright. Three clubs had been formed, and arrangements were being made so that tho schools might tako np 'tho game. Permission was granted to the Wellington Football.Association to play tho following matches at Easter s—Wellington representatives to play Auckland representatives, at Auckland; Y.M.CA. to play Auckland Club teams' at Wellington and Auckland; Brooklyn to play two.-matches at Auckland; Petono to lilay two matches at' Blenheim; Swifts v. Auckland City Club; Thistle v. two Wangnnui teams. A letter was received from Mr. W. A Cadwallader, Tauranf a, stating that the formation of a Bay of Plenty Association was contemplated, and asking in* formation on tho matter. It was decided to ask the. writer to define the district which the proposed association would cover. Tho Management Committee of tho Wellington Football Association met at tho Y.M.CA. Buildings last evening. Members present wero: Messrs. A. ffi. Wells (chairman), A. Williams, H. Yeoman, T. Thompson, and. W. Matheson. • The chairman intimated that theGrounds Committee had inspected fivegrounds at' Miramar, which bad been offered to tho association at a rental of £8 for the season by Messrs. Walker -and Co. Tho ground's were found to be splendid ones. It was decided to take them. Tho Swifts Club mado application for permission to mako a charge, for admission at, a match which is to ho played against' Auckland visitors on Saturday. The chairman remarked that granting I the permission asked would establish a | precedent. It would be better jf a subscription wero taken up on tho ground, and ho moved accordingly. The motion was carried. Permission was given to tho same club to play a team from H.M.S. Psycho on April 18. An application by tho Star Club to play the Institute Club on No. G ground, Miramar, was. granted, ns also was an application by the Newtown Congregational Club for pexm'issioh for its fifth and sixth division players to practise on the Kilbirnio ground, subject to the City Council's consent. No. 1 ground Miramar was allotted to the latter club's second division players. Tho Thistle Club intimated that they wero entering'a first and second division team; Swifts' Club, first, second, third, fourth, and sixth division teams: Potone St'. David's Club, second, thirdj fourth, and fifth division teams. Permission was granted ' to the Brooklyn United Club to play a friendly match with a- team from H.M.S. Psycho on Saturday next at Miramar, It was decided that Nos. I,'g, 4, 5, and 8 of tho eld grounds at'Miramar bo retained. ' The Thistle Club was granted permission to play two matches at Wangauui at Easter. It was. decided to ask the selectors to choose a team to play tho representative loam journeying to Auckland on their return on April IS on the Association Company's ground at Miramar.
