NEW GIRLS' COLLEGE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) punedln, April 7. , The annual meeting of the Presby- ■ '-erian Synod of Otago and Southland Dpened to-night. The Rev. Mr. Whyte intimated that tho presbytery of Dunedin had'made'definite arrangements for the incorporation of the Board of Governors for the Presbyterian Girls' College, with authority to acquire property and open the college at an early date. It was unanimously resolved that the "• Synod expresses its satisfaction with the steps taken by the presbytery of Dune- : din, and commends the college to the presbyteries and the .sessions of the Church.
