REFEREES' ASSOCIATION. The tenth annual general mooting of tho Wellington Hockey Referees' Association was held on Friday evening. Dr. Morpeth presided over a good attendance of members. .. The report showed that tho association .had provided referees for 148 games during the past season,.made up as follows: Shield 4, other representatives 6, championship games 138. The balance-sheet showed assets over liabilities amounting to £5 12s. sd. . . . - The chairman, in moving tho adoption of the report and balance-sheet, congratulated the members'on the past season's work. ,' ■ . The election of , officers resulted as ■under:—President, Dr. Morpeth: vicepresidents, Messrs. Bennett, Falconer, and Southwcok; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. P. M'Kenzie; examination hoard,-Dr. Morpeth, ■ Messrs. Fal-. coner,' and Southwick; appointment board, Dr. Morpeth, Messrs. Gendalland M'Kenzie. The secretary was instructed to wrlto to the secretary of each club, asking for their _ assistance in getting old players to join tho Reforeos' Association.
