Considerable argmnent took place as to whether a fog signal on the big King could be- heard far enough away, to give a warning to ships approaching the West King. Mr, Fisher referred again t<i his wireless compass proposal Iwt Captain Iloss pointed out that trireloss operators argiiod that it would be impossible to pick up messages from a warning station on _ the Three Kings when tho Awn-md wireless station was working.
