Incomplete returns for tho period of 'a siiort trial of tho new tram-faro schedule show .that the increase will yield ovor £100,000 a^year. 'The rise in-the Sydney. tranv fares was decided upon by the New South Wales State Government, which control the tramways, in consequence, of the increased cost of running the system, due to increased wages and other concessions.
