FELL INTO HARBOUR, A boy named Harding accidentally fell oft the Taranaki Street Wharf into tho harbour at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday. His plight was fortunately noticed by a tally clerk named E. Clark, who jumped ■ into the water and effected a rescue. The boy was later taken to his home by his father. SAD OCCURRENCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Nelson, April 4. Mrs. Ethel Hammond, aged '2-5, wife of Mr. It. Hammond, of Richmond, committed suicide by taking poison. Deceased had been melancholy since a recent child-birth. No other reason is ascribed for .the act.
