SUBSIDY ON DTJNBDIN'S EFFORT.,, (fir Telegraph.—Press Association.) Dunedln, April 4.« A deputation from the Otngo University Council waited upon the Hon. The Minister replied that, as regarded the amount subscribed to the University ami Hospital in Dnncdiu, they really did not need to enlarge on ihat point, for he thought- that the people of Now Zealand were aware of the noble way ii.t which the citizens of Dune-din had given to the eauße of education. and to tho hospital.
