THE DINGHY CUP.
.—_ llio final race for the Thoriidon Dmghy Club's Cup was got off on Saturday by the Heretauaga Boating Club. Oil Bias, Oil rounding Sonmos's Island buoy, broke her bob-stay -and abandoned the race. The result was Kuna (3mi»i handicap), 1; Miro (scratch), 2: Gil Idas (lajiiu.), 3. Time, 5-Bmm. In ;L series of throe races for the above cup, the points scored are: JJiro, 8; Rrnia! 7; Gil Bias, G. Miro therefore wilts the ircphy. Vice-Commodore H. Brown was judge and starter. Several visitors from tl» 'Wellington Cruising Club were entertained at afternoon tea by the Heretonnga Club, Commodore M'Donald welcoming them.
