OTAGO RAM FAIR.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Dunedin, April 2., ' Tho annual ram and ewe fair under the auspices of tho Otago A. and P. Society was held at Burnsido ' to-day whon thero was a representative attendance of breeders. The opinion expressed by one or two leading breeders was that the quality of sheep forward, taking them all round, could have been much improved, and that tlioso forward wero not by any means representative specimens of different breeds; also, that the best of the rams had been, disposed of privately. Fifteen Bomney Marsh stud l'anls were offered and 13 were sold at price 3 ranging from 12 guineas to 3 guineas. Nineteen Border Laieesters were offered and eighteen were, sold at prices ranging from 20J guineas to 4} guineas. Only two English' Leicester stud rams were offered, and they realised guineas each. The only Lincoln stud ram in the yard realised 3 guineas. Eight Corriedalo stud rams realised 33-i guineas, the best price being 5 guineas.
