IDEA TO SHORTEN THE ROUTE. A deputation from tho Northland Ratepayers' Association waited on t-lio Wellington City Council last evening, and asked that tho train route from tho city to Karori should bo shortened by taking a line from Moleswortii Street along Hill Street to Tinttkori Road. The cost, £3000 or £4000 would* according to Mr. L. A.
