£40,000, OR NO EXPEDITION,

TIIO following visitors to Wellington were at the Graiid Hotel yesterday:— Mr. D. F. Morison, Philadelphia; Mr. H.. J. M. Campbell and Miss Campbell, Portland, Victoria; Mr. and Mrs. Ji. It. Bttssett Donald, Victoria; J. H. Boyd, Torouto, Canada; Mr. R. Spenee, New York; Mr. Gryellitzcf and Dr. Dofregger, Germany; Major Cochrane, and Mr. H. R. Grover, Detroit, United States. COMMERCIAL MdTOR EXHIBiT. A eamplo 3/4 Tonner 40 h.p. "Leyland" has just been received by the Company's Asents (Messrs. Magnus, Sanderson ami Co., Ltd., Wakefield Street, WellinnteS) and those interested in commercial vehicles of a high quality are invited to inspect same. Trials will be arranged lor with intending purchasers. The "Lejland" carries the hall-mark of distinction in every line of its powerful frame and engine. Other, commercial vehicles which have been seen in Wellington appear insignificant when compared with the "Leyland."—Advt.
