BENEFIT PERFORMANCES.
The management of His Majesty's Theatre has decided to give » benefit reatinee on Saturday nest, in aid of the victims, in the Hutt fatality, It is hoped to raise £100 by this keatis. The Wellington City Band wiji gi?o a benefit performance at the Bbtaiiicsil Gardens on Sunday afternoon Beit, in aid of tho'sufferers.
A meeting was held at Upper Butt last night to decide on steps to oe tak-tm to relieve the sufferers.
