Paris, March 29. Lord Esher, lecturing at the Sorbonno on "War and Peace," said: "Those who detest war and desire peace should welcome an alliance between Britain and France, and the conversion of the Triple Entente into a second Triple Alliance, leading ultimately to a concert of all the great Powers based upon reason and common interests, from which the iincertain element of sporadic action would be eliminated."
