VIOLENT STORM IN SYDNEY.
MAN KILLED BY LIGHTNING. By Tekprra-ph.—Press Aesoolation— OopyriKlit (ttee. March 29, 1.51 p.m.) . Sydney, March 29. A violent galo, accompanied by a deluge of raiu, passed over the city last evoninj*. Considerable damage to property resulted, and several people were struck by lightning,- one man being killed under a tree.
In Centennial Park, where General Sir lan Hamilton was reviewing 23,000 troops at the time, he was greatly impressed by the manner in which the cadets unflinchingly faced the elements, Telegraphic communication has been interrupted.
