Hutteti and Bristow, made the best of a five-fninut-o start given tta-m by the somewhat eager .pack. Tho courso was from Worser Bay ovor tfao hill to Mirsinar and rqu.nd tho surrowiiding slopes imtil the golf links tfci'e reached,- then a- tnr'n j was taken for home, -via. tho Seatomi tuu-H-el. A scratali run-in was held, which resulted in S> Ball gaining an easy victory, with .1.. Salerond and Q. '■ ..Willis finishing seeond aud tlnj-d respeotively. After the run, members were entertained by several lady supporters of the «lub at afternoon tea. Musical items were.proyiu-ed by Messrs. E. Har* voy.and f. Oliver. The harrier soasoa will be officially opened iiext Saturday afternoon by His Worship the Mavor'(Mγ. J. ij. Lutte).
