March 27, 5.50 p.m.) London, March 26. i A London company is starting the development of old Spanish gold mining iin the Cordillera of Veragua (Panama). Tho Panama Isthmian Canal Commission recently investigated places where deposits had been found. 'There are many tracts of gold-bearing land, but the deposits aro not in sufficient quantities to become profitable.
