Mr. Nash, Who is a vice-president of the Pickwickian Club of Sydney, being desirous, of forming a similar, club in Wellington, explained the methods and the rules rf the Sydney Club. As a result of the sgatluymß it tras decided to form a similar etui) in 'Wellington, and Sir. J. 1 ,, . Atkins was appointed secretary. It was decided to limit the number of members. Tfes club is a purely social one and is formed for the purpose of eurauragiftg the study of Difikejis. Aaojigst those who signified their intention of joinhitc ihe club wore: Jlessrs. G. Winder, \V. Smith, R. 3X Graiisej J. F. Atkins, WPerry. A. S. Mite-tteH, B. H. Wallw-r. I). & Blair, E. J. Fitzixibbon, and C Q. Wilson.
