The ancient city of Jerusalem is being Europeaniscd, with electric light, waterworks, and tramways. One tramway line will run from the Jaffa Gate to Bothlehem, and another to the- head of the valley of Jehosophat. None of thorn, howovcr, will enter tho old city within the walls.
