Meyer wins the medal for the best aggregate, with Scout Baldwin second, and Sergt. A. N. Smith and Scout H. Grigg (equal) third. NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association was hold at Christchurch on Friday night. Mr. Vincent moved: "That 200 metres bo the recognised distance for tho championship breast stroke event, iu lieu of the present 220 yds. distance, and that the standard time foe such event be 3min. 39sec." . Tho motion w.as carried. The Amateur Swimming Union of Australia wrote that C. Atkinson's time for the 220 yds.. breast stroke at the recent New Zealand Cbampionship Meeting (3 rain. 7sec.) constituted an Australasian record, the best time in Australia being 3min. lOsec, made by E. G. Finlay, at Brisbane. The Union did not, however, possess any power to recogniso Australasian Tecords, but the Union was prepared to co-operate with tho'Now Zealand Association in drawing up such records. It was agreed to forward the information, and co-operate with the Union in the matter.
The Hawke's Bay Centre applied for the recognition of tho record put,up by M. E. Champion, at Napier, on February 28, by doing the 100 yds. in 60sec. As the race was a handicap event the Council.decided that it could not recognise the record.
Mr. F. Wilton, a member of .the "Wellington Centre, wrote asking for a ruling on the. right to a member of a centre, not a member of the executive of the Centre, to have access to the minute book of the Centre. It was decided io ask the 'Wellington Centre why-- it declined to give Mr. Wilton access to the'minute book. •■*.'■...
The' Swifts Club (Wellington) wrote regarding the action of the Wellington Centre in voiding a water polo competition on the ground that the Swifts Club played a member alleged to be a member of a suspended club. It was decided to ask the Wellington Centre to place its side of the case .before the Council,'and also to.explain why the Council was not informed of the suspension of the Coronation Club.
It was decided to write a letter of commendation to Mr. D. J. Evans, of Hokitika, in connection with the presentation by him ,of a. shield for lifesaving competitions in the schools of the Westland education, district.
Reference was raado to ; the opening, at' Easter time, of the Dunedin Municipal Tepid Baths. The secretary (Mr. Rundle) said that it was hoped, that as many Canterbury swimmers as possible should attend tho function. It was decided to thank the Otago Centre for its invitation. ■ ■ ..

Rawcne put -up a good performance by beating the- • scratch boat by nine minutes.
