« During the present season complaints wore to bo he'ard as.to the exceptionally heavy ravages of tho blight affecting tomatoes, bill, during tho present week, the arrivals of tomatoes have, been exceptionally heavy, and prices have suffered in consequence. Tho Sydney and Melbourne shipments this week weic very light indeed, consisting of grapes, pineapples, and watermelons, nil lines being 'in good demand. Local shipments of poaches aro on the- increases, and, according to quality, prices have shown n general decline. Vegetables aro in about equal supply and demand, with tlio pxceptioji <if greon peas, which aro ruling at high rates. The arrivals of fresh eggs aro on tho decline, with prices showing in tho opposite direction. Potatoes and onions are now arriving from tho south in fair quantities, with prices a shade easier.
