THE PREMIER AT GREYMOUTH.
ENTHUSIASTIC WELCOME. (By Telegraph.—Prcaa Association.' Creymouth, March 19. , Tho Hon. W. F.Massey arrived at . Ureymouth this morning on his first 'official visit since he came into office. Ho was met and welcomed by tho Mayor and chairmen of local bodies aild a number of citizens. The afternoon .was devoted to receiving deputations on various local < matters, and ■ afterwards Mr. Massoy proceeded in a motor-car to Ten-Milo .and Runanga. Mrs. Masiipy and , Miss Masscy were ■ entertained by members of tho Makura Oroquot Club during the afternoon. In the evening the Opera Houso was packed, when the Prime Minister was -given, an official welcome- by tho citizens. The proceedings wero most en- .. tlmsiastic.
