CHARGE FOR CLUB FINALS.

In tho City Council last night," th» Reserves Committee recommended:— "That permission bo granted to the Wellington Cricket Association to charge for admission to the final championship matches to be played on the Basin Reserve on March 28 and April 4, subject to the usual conditionu, the charge' for admission to bo limited to 6d." The comici} decided to gir.e the Reserves Committee power to deal with the matter.

MOTOR MOWER FOR BASIN. The City Council resolved last evening: "That the Wellington Cricket Association bo informed that the council will bo prepared to purchase a motor lawn mower for use at the Basin Reserve, provided tho association pay n rental of £10 ner annum for same and the cost of upkeep."

MANAWATTJ TEAM. Palmerston North, March 19. Fifteen players have been selected to represent Mnnawatu against tlie visiting Australian team, on Monday and Tuesday next. The final tor the senior-competition of tlio outside association will be played at Kelliurne to-morrow.
