RESIDENCE DAMAGED. (By Telesrapli.—Press Association.) Inveroargill, March 18/ "Firo gutted the residence of G. Findlay this morning. Insurances: £500 on 'the house and £300 on tho furniture in the South British Office. Tho loss is about £400/ : OFFICE AND STORES BURNT. (By Telegraph—Special Correspondent.) Napier, March 18. The Hawke's Bay Farmers' offices and stores at Waipukurau were destroyed by firo this evening. » MONOPLANE BURNED. Information was received in town last night to the effect that Mr. A. W. Scaef's monoplane had been accidentally burned at Lyall Bay early in tho evening. Particulars of the damago dono wero not available, but it is understood that tho machine accidentally caught fire arid was practically demolished. It is -understood that the machine was insured. ' 1
